We would like to say a huge "Thank you" to those involved in the works at the junction from the school to the church. All work being carried out at present is being done on a voluntary basis.

This is the true definition of "Meitheal". It is proposed that a footpath will be laid whic will allow parents to use the carpark at the church, thereby alleviating traffic congestion at the school.

New Classroom Extension

School Building Project

Work has been going on behind the scenes over the summer in preparation for the commencement of our new classroom extension. While it is disappointing that work has not yet commenced, strict Department of Education and Science guidelines and timeframes have to be adhered to. However, we anticipate that the project will go to tender in the coming weeks which will allow for the appointment of a building contractor, then hopefully it will be all systems go!

In the interim, 6th Class will be accommodated in the General Purpose Room which has been transformed into a classroom, complete with state of the art interactive whiteboard and internet access.

For the duration of the building project, P.E. for all classes will be outdoors, weather permitting.

On wet days, teachers will improvise indoors with drills and exercises.

This is a temporary situation and is unavoidable but will result in improved facilities for all pupils.
